Humanization:
Based on the principle that framework regions (FRs) stabilize the conformation of complementarity-determining regions (CDRs), the AbEngin® Antibody Humanization Platform introduces amino acid mutations at specific sites to optimize the CDR conformation of humanized antibodies. It thereby screens humanized variants whose affinity is comparable to or even superior to that of the parental molecule.Furthermore, all mutated amino acids within the humanization mutation library are of human origin, eliminating the need for backmutation and enabling AbEngin® to deliver a higher degree of humanization.
