Cell Immunization

Cell Immunization

Cellular immunization is an immunization technique that uses whole-cell materials including viable intact cells, fixed cells, cell lysates and cell membrane fractions as immunogens to directly immunize laboratory animals. It stimulates the animal’s immune system to generate polyclonal or monoclonal antibodies targeting cell surface antigens, intracellular proteins and cell-specific markers.

Small molecule Immunization

Small molecule Immunization

Small-molecule immunization is the mainstream technique for generating small-molecule-specific antibodies. Small molecules with a molecular weight below 1000 Da act solely as haptens and cannot trigger an immune response independently. They must be covalently conjugated to macromolecular carrier proteins such as KLH and BSA via carbon-chain linkers to form complete antigens. The T-cell epitopes carried by the carrier then activate the host’s humoral immunity.

Peptide immunization

Peptide immunization

Peptide immunization uses synthetic, screened epitope peptides to trigger targeted adaptive immunity through MHC presentation. Ideal for vaccines, tumor immunotherapy and antibody development, it outperforms traditional whole-protein, bacterial and cell-based immunization methods with unique strengths.

Protein Immunization

Protein Immunization

As a mature mainstream route for antibody discovery, conventional protein immunization uses in vitro purified native/recombinant antigens to elicit stable humoral immunity and generate specific polyclonal, monoclonal and nanobodies. With native-like epitopes and reliable immune effects, it fits most targets including soluble extracellular proteins, membrane ECDs and peptide antigens.

RNA Immunization

RNA Immunization

RNA immunity is an emerging strategy widely recognized during COVID-19.Inside the body, RNA translates into heterologous proteins, activating T cells and antibody responses.RNA is delivered by lipid nanoparticles (LNP) with inherent immunogenicity, requiring no extra adjuvants.Linear, circular and self-amplifying RNA are widely applied. NBLST offers one-stop solutions for RNA-LNP preparation, RNA immunity and nanobody development, ensuring quality and high efficiency.
