Nanobodies show great value in biomedicine, diagnosis, treatment, and agriculture. High-quality nanobodies rely on zero-immune-background and scientifically raised llamas. Nabao Life, offering full services from llama immunization to nanobody discovery, engineering, and validation, has always prioritized standardized llama management.

To ensure the quality of the nanobody discovery services, Naboo not only continues to use "zero immune background" alpacas, but also pays special attention to the physical and mental health of the alpacas. The alpaca experimental base was selected from the very beginning to be located in a remote suburban area far away from industrial pollution and with excellent ecological environment. With a 150-acre large-scale breeding space as the carrier, the standardized management is integrated throughout the entire process of alpaca breeding and immunization, providing high-quality experimental resources with traceable origins for the development of nanobodies.

The Naboo Life Alpaca Experimental Base adheres to the "Principles of Animal Welfare". Through scientific planning, the alpaca sheds within the breeding base are divided into inner and outer areas. The inner area is equipped with a central air conditioning system to maintain a temperature range of 16 to 23 degrees Celsius to simulate the living environment of the alpacas' native habitat. It also has automatic water dispensers to ensure water safety and reduce the risk of pathogens. The outer area has a sand bathing area, providing the alpacas with sufficient space for movement, ensuring that each alpaca has a floor space of no less than 5 square meters, meeting their natural instincts for running and playing.
In terms of breeding, the breeding team follows the "Animal Welfare Guidelines" for management. The feed undergoes safety testing. Adult alpacas are provided with 2.5 to 3 kilograms of alfalfa hay and high-protein feed as their staple food every day. They are also given fruits and vegetables such as apples and carrots as supplementary food to supplement dietary fiber and trace elements to ensure the health of the alpacas. The veterinary team conducts regular physical examinations on the alpacas to ensure their overall physical and mental health, laying a solid foundation for the development of nanobody research.
